As some of you may already be aware, I have made the very difficult decision to close the bakery. Thank you so much to everyone for all of your support these past two years as we grew from a made to order peanut/tree nut free bakery to a retail/wholesale bakery offering fresh, regional and eclectic baked goods and chocolates. We were so blessed to win the Guardiacare's Chocolate Dreams contest 2 years in a row, and to participate in great events like the Girl Scout's Desserts First event, Family Scholar House's Sushi in the City and Dare to Care's Taste of Derby event. And we so enjoyed meeting everyone at the Farmer's Markets this year! However, as we grew and grew, I had less time for my primary job, that of mom to three great kids, and so I have decided to take a break and focus on my family. I'm working on some great new concepts though, so stayed tuned for what may come in the very near future! Thanks again to everyone!
Welcome to Ooh La La! Bakery, where you can find desserts and treats everyone can get excited about! We offer delicious cupcakes, cookies, cakes, brownies, breads, muffins and other treats that are made to order from scratch, using only fresh, locally grown, organic ingredients free of artificial preservatives and additives wherever possible.
As a Kentucky Proud bakery, we are proud to support our local farmers and producers. Our ingredients are certified to be nut-free, and we are pursuing Kosher certification. Our products give everyone the opportunity to enjoy desserts, breads and other treats made the way our mothers and grandmothers baked – by hand, from scratch, with fresh ingredients. In addition, all of our breads are made using traditional artisan techniques. Because we have first-hand experience dealing with the challenges of peanut/tree nut allergies, we know how important a peanut/tree nut free bakery product is.
Ooh La La! Bakery products give parents and other consumers a special, delicious and acceptable option for school functions, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and special occasions. We are ideal for office parties, business meetings, and organized functions because our products can accommodate food allergies or other special dietary needs so that everyone can be included in special events. Upon request we can also accommodate milk and egg allergies, and we are sesame and coconut free.
